Port City Disabilities Services, a division of Port City Enterprises, Inc., has been supporting individuals with special needs and their families since 1965. Based in Port Allen, we are a non-profit organization providing Medicaid waiver services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across East and West Baton Rouge, Pointe Coupee and Iberville Parishes.
From the start we’ve been dedicated to nurturing growth, independence and meaningful connections. With a close-knit atmosphere and personalized support, Port City is a trusted partner in helping individuals excel and families thrive.
Our waiver licenses include Children’s Choice, NOW, ROW and Supports. We are committed to educating families about the impact of these lifelong benefits, offering our knowledge and support to navigate the Medicaid system from the application process onward to the delivery of quality services.

In-Home Care
We help individuals thrive at home by offering 24-hour personalized care for those living in their own home, and flexible support for those living with family or guardians.
Adult Day Habilitation
Weekdays from 8 am to 2 pm, we assure meaningful days out in the community and relaxation in the home-like setting of our activities center.
Supported Employment
Building independence through part-time community work, promoting inclusion and confidence and learning valuable skills.
